Description: ASR Detect™ is a field test kit to identify Alkaline Silica Reaction (ASR) in concrete. Two reactants are applied to the cracked surface of a concrete core and the excess is rinsed off. In contaminated concrete, the resulting stains reveal the presence of ASR. The stains also reveal the extent of ASR in concrete and indicate the stage of ASR progression. Yellow indicates the onset of degradation; if it is pink, it means that the deterioration is progressing.
