Description: The Schleibinger eBT-V is a portable, compact and network-free rheometer for fresh concrete, specially developed for laboratory and construction site. In contrast to the spreading table or slump flow, concrete is tested at various loads. Therefore, a relative yield stress and a relative viscosity can be determined.

eBT-V can be operated in two different modes:

• P-Mode for ordinary or vibrated concrete and hard concrete. By operating the rheometer in P-mode, fresh concrete properties in uncut concrete due to a single cycle (360°) can be investigated. As a result, potential problems such as segregation and structural deterioration during measurement are greatly minimized. A measuring probe is attached to the device and rotated around a centering rod. The force on the probe will be measured. The speed profile is freely programmable. The measurement time is usually less than a minute.

• V-Mode for modern concretes such as self-compacting concrete (SCC) and UHPC. By operating the rheometer in V-mode, common Vane geometry will be used as an approximation of a classical cylinder geometry. Thanks to the star arrangement of the wings, it is almost completely prevented from sliding on the probe wall. The use of the device holder with integrated anti-slip bars also prevents wall sliding on the container surface. The eBT-V is fixed in the instrument holder and the Vane probe is attached to the drive shaft. The Vane probe rotates and the torque on the Vane probe is measured. The speed profile is freely programmable.
